Step 1 — Connect wallet
Open Uniswap and connect your wallet (MetaMask, TrustWallet, Coinbase dApp or WalletConnect). Make sure you're on the Ethereum network.
Step 2 — Add the $BOB token
Paste this contract address into Uniswap:

Click 'Import' when prompted.
Step 3 — Set slippage
Click the gear icon and set slippage to 0.5-1% to make sure the swap goes through smoothly.
Step 4 — Swap ETH for $BOB
Choose how much ETH you want to swap, check the numbers, and click Swap.
Step 5 — Confirm transaction
Approve in your wallet and wait for it to process. Once confirmed, you'll see your shiny new $BOB tokens in your wallet.

Before we start, here are the four key steps I'll guide you through… nice and simple.
Create and set up your crypto wallet

You'll confirm it all in your wallet at the end
Step 1 — Create your crypto wallet
Before you can buy $BOB, you'll need a crypto wallet. This is your personal digital account for holding crypto safely.
The easiest and most trusted option is MetaMask. You can use it on your phone or as a browser extension.
- Go to metamask.io and download the app or extension.
- Follow the setup instructions to create your wallet.
- When prompted, write down your Secret Recovery Phrase — store it safely and never share it with anyone.
- Once finished, you'll see your wallet address — a long string of letters and numbers starting with “0x…”. That's your crypto “bank account number.”
That's it... your wallet's ready. Next, we'll add some ETH (your fuel for buying $BOB).
Step 2 — Add funds to your wallet
Now that your wallet's ready, it needs a little fuel: Ethereum (ETH).
Think of this as a quick currency swap. You'll first turn your local money (like pounds or dollars) into ETH, then use that ETH to grab your $BOB tokens.
There are two simple ways to get ETH — click on the route you prefer:
MoonPay is the easiest way to get ETH straight into your wallet using a debit or credit card. No exchanges, no transfers — quick and simple.

Open MoonPay
Go to moonpay.com or use the MoonPay option inside your MetaMask app. -
Select Ethereum (ETH)
That's the crypto you'll later use to buy your $BOB. -
Enter your wallet address
Copy your wallet address from MetaMask (that you created in Step 1) and paste it where MoonPay asks “Where should we send your crypto?”
(Tip: Double-check the first and last few characters match.) -
Choose how much to buy
Start small if you like — just enough ETH to cover your first $BOB purchase and a little extra for fees. -
Pay with your card
Complete the payment securely using your debit or credit card. -
Wait for your ETH to arrive
MoonPay will send the ETH straight to your wallet once payment is confirmed. It usually takes a few minutes. -
Done!
When you see your ETH in MetaMask, your wallet is funded and ready for the next step — swapping ETH for $BOB.
If you'd rather use a regular exchange, Coinbase is one of the most trusted options. You'll buy ETH there first, then move it into your wallet.

Go to Coinbase
Visit coinbase.com or open the Coinbase app. Create an account if you don't already have one — it only takes a few minutes. -
Buy Ethereum (ETH)
From the home screen, select 'Buy' and choose Ethereum (ETH). Use your debit card or bank transfer to complete the purchase. -
Open your MetaMask wallet
You'll now transfer your ETH from Coinbase into your MetaMask wallet (so you control it). -
Copy your wallet address
In MetaMask, click your account name to copy your wallet address — it starts with "0x...". -
Back in Coinbase, click Send
Select the amount of ETH you want to transfer. Paste your MetaMask wallet address when asked for the recipient. -
Confirm and send
Check that the address matches, then confirm the transfer. -
Wait for it to arrive
It usually takes a few minutes for the ETH to appear in your MetaMask wallet. -
Done!
Once you see it there, your wallet is now funded and ready to use for buying $BOB.
Step 3 — Connect your wallet to Uniswap
Now that you've got funds in your wallet, it's time to connect to Uniswap. This is the place where you'll be getting your $BOB tokens.
- Go to Uniswap — open app.uniswap.org in your browser. Make sure the website address is correct... there are many fake copies online.
- Connect your wallet — click “Connect Wallet” in the top-right corner. Choose MetaMask (or your wallet) and approve the connection.
Step 4 — Swap ETH for your $BOB tokens
Once your wallet is connected, you can swap some ETH for $BOB. It only takes a few clicks, and your tokens will arrive straight in your wallet.
- Add $BOB to Uniswap — paste this contract:

- Choose how much ETH to swap — enter how much ETH you want to swap for $BOB. Start small if this is your first time.
- Set slippage — click the gear icon and set Slippage to 0.5-1%. This helps your trade go through smoothly even if prices move a little.
- Review and swap — check the details carefully, then click 'Swap'.
- Confirm in your wallet — your wallet will pop up asking for confirmation. Check everything looks right, then approve the transaction.
- Wait for it to process — it usually takes a few moments for the swap to complete. Once confirmed, your shiny new $BOB tokens will appear in your wallet.
That's it! You did it! 🎉 You now officially hold $BOB. Welcome to the club.
